א׳כִּי־תֵצֵא לַמִּלְחָמָה עַל־אֹיְבֶךָ וְרָאִיתָ סוּס וָרֶכֶב עַם רַב מִמְּךָ לֹא תִירָא מֵהֶם כִּי־ה׳ אֱלֹקֶיךָ עִמָּךְ הַמַּעַלְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃
ב׳וְהָיָה כְּקָרׇבְכֶם אֶל־הַמִּלְחָמָה וְנִגַּשׁ הַכֹּהֵן וְדִבֶּר אֶל־הָעָם׃
ג׳וְאָמַר אֲלֵהֶם שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל אַתֶּם קְרֵבִים הַיּוֹם לַמִּלְחָמָה עַל־אֹיְבֵיכֶם אַל־יֵרַךְ לְבַבְכֶם אַל־תִּירְאוּ וְאַל־תַּחְפְּזוּ וְאַל־תַּעַרְצוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶם׃
ד׳כִּי ה׳ אֱלֹקֵיכֶם הַהֹלֵךְ עִמָּכֶם לְהִלָּחֵם לָכֶם עִם־אֹיְבֵיכֶם לְהוֹשִׁיעַ אֶתְכֶם׃

Do not be afraid of them, for Hashem your G-d is with you
1When you go out to war against your enemy and see horse and chariot, a people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them, for Hashem your G-d is with you, the One who brought you up from the land of Egypt.
2When you draw near to battle, the kohen will come forward and speak to the people.
3He will say to them, “Hear, Yisrael: today you are drawing near to battle against your enemies. Do not let your heart grow faint; do not be afraid, do not panic, and do not be terrified because of them,
4for Hashem your G-d is the One who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”
