The Gra on Mishlei
3:5
“With all your heart”: a heart whole in bitachon; do not say, “I will trust in Hashem, but I must also rely on my intellect”: not even as a support
Trust in Hashem with all your heart: that is, that your heart be whole in the middah of bitachon, and not with part of the heart. And do not rely on your own understanding: that you should not say, “I will trust in Hashem, but I am obligated to act, and to rely also on my intellect.” Therefore it says, “do not rely”: do not have your intellect even as a support; rather, trust in Hashem with all your heart.
And the secret of the matter: that you turn [the word] לבך, “your heart,” around, so that it becomes בכל, “in everything,” [given] to Hashem; then Hashem will bless you בכל, “in everything.” And understand.
