ג׳אַל־תִּבְטְחוּ בִנְדִיבִים בְּבֶן־אָדָם שֶׁאֵין לוֹ תְשׁוּעָה׃

ד׳תֵּצֵא רוּחוֹ יָשֻׁב לְאַדְמָתוֹ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אָבְדוּ עֶשְׁתֹּנֹתָיו׃

ה׳אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁקֵל יַעֲקֹב בְּעֶזְרוֹ שִׂבְרוֹ עַל־ה׳ אֱלֹקָיו׃

Do not trust in noblemen; fortunate is the one whose hope is in Hashem

3Do not trust in noblemen, in a human being, who has no power to save.

4His spirit leaves [him], and he returns to the earth [he came from]; on that day his plans are lost.

5Fortunate is the one whose help is the G-d of Yaakov, whose hope is in Hashem his G-d.
