17:5–6
Cursed is the one who trusts in people; he is like a lone tree in the desert
5So says Hashem: Cursed is the man who trusts in people, and makes flesh [and blood] his strength, and whose heart turns away from Hashem.
6He will be like a lone tree in the desert, and he will not see when good comes; he will live in the parched places of the wilderness, a salty land where no one lives.
